About the Festival

In celebration of the comeback of the revitalized Plaza District, the Plaza District Association held the 2009 Plaza District Festival. The festival highlighted a wide array of performing artists, visual artists, live musicians and interactive art education and children's activities. The festival was open to the public drawing audiences from across Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas, and offered the surrounding neighborhoods an arts festival right in the heart of their community. A grand stage set in the center of the Plaza District provided performing artists a space showcase their talent. Plaza District businesses opened showcasing featured artists, designers and activities.

In evening, visitors kicked back and enjoyed 4 spotlight bands from the Oklahoma City music scene with the 2nd Annual Plaza District Music Fest! We hope you can join us next year in celebrating the comeback of the Plaza District at the 2010 Plaza District Festival!
